Literature Text

I'm warning you.
That boy is no cup of tea,
though cups of tea we often would share.

I am not a smart girl,
but I can tell you what comes next.
He loves you... He leaves you.

And you end up like me,
writing poetry in the bathtub,
wondering:

How does it feel to sink?

If this tub had no bottom,
and I let myself plummet
into an eternity of water...

Wouldn't that be fantastic?

And no,
I've never quite learned how to swim.
I really did write this from the tub... Just in case you were wondering.

Also ... I just the last line, Iv never quite learned how to swim" I am honestly afraid of my bathtub and Im always scared of drowning, no not really to a T, but I know the message behind this... Very touching.
